I've been exploring the Scottish Borders countryside since I was a little girl, collecting pebbles and caterpillars and toads and feathers, and bringing them home to draw.
I'm a countryside illustrator, recording the details in the hedgerows and fields around me. I work mostly in pencil to create calm, delicate drawings, carefully observed and full of character. I use these drawings to create a lovely range of cards and stationery.
I live on Teapot Street in the village of Morebattle. I work from a log cabin in the garden. Luckily the sparrows and blackbirds don't mind sharing [you can see pictures of where I work and the things that inspire me here].
